　　Ivan was born in Moscow, in the family of Sergey Kolesnikov and Maria Velikanova. The father is a famous actor and TV host. Mom - a creative person, a freelance artist.　　Since his father served in the theater, Ivan, like many children of theater, spent a lot of time behind the scenes. He really liked being there. Later, he began to appear on the stage of the Moscow Art Theater in the productions of “New American”, “Boris Godunov”, etc.　　He graduated from the Higher Theater School named after MS. Schepkina (course V. Korshunova) in 2004.　　THEATER　　In his second year, Ivan Kolesnikov was already playing on the stage of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater. He was invited to the production of"Eternity and another year" by the play of Milorad Pavic. This is the first main role of the artist on the theater stage. The performance was a great success with theater-goers, and Kolesnikov played in it until the end of his training in “Pike”.　　After completing his studies, Ivan was taken to the army. He served his time in the troupe of the Theater of the Russian Army, playing in several performances. After completing the service Kolesnikov was enrolled in the theater of the Moscow City Council.
